This explains what the AI Cinematic Academy (Al Hussein Production, Amman, Jordan) collects, why, and who helps us run it.
What we collect
When you book: your name, email address, the courses you chose, the amounts, the date, the Terms version you accepted, your approximate country, and the PayPal references for the payment (including the email of the PayPal account used). Card details are entered with PayPal and never reach us.
When you use your account (from 20 November): your sign-in activity — date, device, browser and approximate location — and your learning progress.
When you ask to be notified ("Notify me"): your email address, the course or project you asked about, your page language and the date. We use it only to tell you when that item opens or gets a price.
Why
To deliver the courses you bought, send receipts and important messages, support you, keep accounts secure, enforce the Terms (for example against account sharing) and meet accounting obligations. We do not sell your data.
Who helps us
PayPal (payments), Vercel (hosting), Neon (database, USA), Resend (email), Upstash (security limits), Vimeo (video), Google (sign-in with Google, and Google Analytics on alhussein.ai). They process data only to provide their service to us.
How long
Order records are kept as long as accounting rules require. Sign-in history is kept for 12 months. Account data is kept while your account exists. "Notify me" requests are kept until we have told you the item is available, or until you ask us to remove them.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of data we are not required to keep, by writing to academy@alhussein.ai. The academy uses essential cookies to keep you signed in; alhussein.ai also uses Google Analytics.
